Jessica Marie Alba (American actress, businesswoman) is Jessica Marie Alba. Her first appearances on TV and in movies when she was 13 years old in Camp Nowhere (94), after which she became a star at the age of 19 when she was cast in the role of lead actress in the show Dark Angel (2000 - 2002), for which she was nominated for an Golden Globe nominee. Honey (2003) was Honey's big screen debut. She quickly established herself as an Hollywood actress and has appeared in a variety of films that have made the box office a roaring success throughout her career which include Fantastic Four (2005), Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), Good Luck Chuck (2007), The Eye (2008), Valentine's Day (2010), Little Fockers (2010) as well as Mechanic: Resurrection (2016). 9] She has worked with frequent collaborators like Robert Rodriguez. Jessica Marie Alba was born in Pomona, California, on April 28, 1981, to Catherine Louisa (nee Jensen) and Mark David Alba. Her mother is of Danish, Welsh and German heritage. The grandparents of her paternal grandfather were born in California as children of Mexican immigrants. Joshua is her older brother. Gustavo Arellano (her third cousin) is once again her biological father. Her father was an Air Force pilot and took the family to Biloxi (Mississippi) and Del Rio (Texas), after which returning to Claremont in California at nine years of age. Alba has stated that her family is a "very conservative, traditional, Catholic, Latin American family" and herself as a liberal. She claims that she was an "feminist" as early as the age of five.
