Courtney Thorne Smith Bio

Courtney Thorne-Smith (born on the 8th of November 1997) is an American actress from the United States. Her most well-known roles include Alison Parker on Melrose Place and Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal. She also starred as Cheryl in According to Jim and Lyndsey McElroy on Two and a Half Men. Thorne-Smith was born in San Francisco, California, and grew up in Menlo Park, a suburb south of San Francisco. Walter Smith was her father. Lora Thorne was her mom , as well as a therapy therapist. Courtney, who was seven years old, separated from her father, Walter Smith. She lived with both parents, at various times. Jennifer is her older sister is an ad executive. She attended the Menlo-Atherton High school, situated in Atherton, California, and graduated from Tamalpais High School, in Mill Valley, California, in 1985. While in high school, she also participated in the Ensemble Theater Company in Mill Valley. Thorne Smith's first film appearance was in the feature film drama Lucas. She was joined by Winona Ryder (Corey Haim) as well as Charlie Sheen. In the 80s, she was a part of in numerous films like Welcome to 18 (1986), Revenge of the Nerds II : Nerds in Paradise (1987), Summer School (87) and Side Out (1990). In 1998 she starred in the box office hit Chairman of the board with Carrot Top. She also appeared in Sorority Wars in 2009. Thorne Smith had a relationship with Andrew Shue in the 1990s. He was her screen boyfriend from Melrose Place. The actress was married to geneticist Andrew Conrad in June 2000. The couple divorced in 2001. Roger Fishman, the president of Zizo Group marketing and author of What I Know, was her husband. The couple welcomed Jacob Emerson Fishman on January 11, 2008, at 40 years old.
